Agreement - By booking a ride with Malpas Farm Ride, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to abide by these terms & conditions .

Group Bookings - Where 2 or more riders book together, the lead booker shall confirm with all the other riders that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

No Cancellations Or Refunds -  But you can RE BOOK FOR ANY DATE free of charge . The free re book option applies after a booking is made and the ride not completed.  Reasons might be due to bad weather, changed your mind for another day , or your horse or pony is unable to continue for any reason .

On re booking you are asked to enter the Promo Code. ( Enter the word Gift) and a free booking can be made. This will only work for a ONE PERSON booking.

For a group booking to reschedule, each rider will need to rebook individually .

To advise a rebooking  - please e mail us after your booking and give the reason. No confirmation will be sent - your Re Book is guaranteed, simply use the Promo Code.   

(NB We adopt this no refund policy to reduce admin and staff costs which otherwise add to the ride fee)

Bookings & Payments - all bookings & payments must be made in advance through this website.  Access to the site is not permitted without a paid for booking. 

Weather & Farm Conditions - The ride is open in most weather conditions. Malpas Farm Ride reserves the right to cancel or postpone bookings if conditions are deemed unsafe (for example, in cases of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances affecting the safety of riders or horses). In the rare event that we cancel your booking, your Re Book Voucher option applies.  

Rider Responsibility - Riders take part at their own risk and must ensure their horse or pony is fit and capable of completing the ride. Riders are responsible for controlling their horse or pony at all times, including when encountering livestock, wildlife and other occurrences on the farm such as tractors nearby.

Terrain.  The ride is on farmland and through woods with natural hazards such as tree roots, slopes and ditches.  Riders are responsible for moderating their speed according to the terrain and should consider dismounting if / where necessary.  The ride conditions can vary with the weather and riders should use their own judgement as to whether to proceed.

Safety & Conduct - Approved riding hats are mandatory in accordance with the BHS standard 2025. Click here for more information on hat standards & safety.  All riders must follow the instructions of Malpas Farm Ride signs and adhere to posted route guidance. Malpas Farm Ride reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed to be unsafe or unsuitable to ride. Anyone seen to be mistreating an animal will be asked to leave immediately & reported to the relevant authorities.
